redline is the same but the gears are taller... FD (final drive) in the AT is 3.3, MT 3.5... that could make a diff at higher speeds... I swapped 3.7 for better acceleration so I don’t know about higher speeds... AT is good for drag racing but not optimal for road course, an MT has several advantages there...

as for the number of MTs beaten = all but 1 and I've won more than lost to it.
