Okay, so im doing lots of reading on this forums, and everyone seems to have all these damned acronyms that i am totally not in the know about. Is there a newb thread that defines all the acronyms, and maybe tells you how to identify what exact model of G you have?

i have an 05 sedan, but i see things like 6MT, etc and dont know what this is. I know my car isnt the sport edition, what is the regular G35 called? Just G35 Sedan?

I know i have a few questions here, so far my only mods are having my windows tinted. 20% on all passenger windows 5% on the back window. Looks real nice..

Also i hear people talking about DG Coupe, or DG Sedan, im assuming they mean dark grey? If so I have a 05 DG Sedan...

 

6MT = means 6 speed manual Transmission.

DG = Diamond Graphite

oh okay, in that case mines at AT, not 6MT.. bought it used and couldnt find a 6 speed or manual at the price i was looking to pay.

20, anyone know how many fewer horsepower the 05 AT Sedan has than the 05 6MT Sedan?

yah, sure Ive actually heard from a former 6MT (yay i know what that means now) owner at work that he thought the AT was geared better than the 6MT as far as redlines/rpm/highspeeds go.
