So my rear right door, the power lock won't work via the button on the driver door or by the remote. So I have to do it manually at the lock each time.

Any ideas what could eb the cause? Remedy?

 

Will it lock but not unlock, or vice versa, or neither? Could it be the little child safety lock on the inside back (although I doubt that would keep the power lock from functioning). Remove the trim and check all the electrical connections, could be something just came loose.

So I basically got annoyed and just manually locked and unlocked several times...and then ti started working...so maybe it just got stuck...? Regardless it's now working. Maybe it got stuck when somebody tried to open the door as it was being unlocked by the driver causing it to jam

Just recently happened to me (driver's side '03 coupe). The lock became intermittent when using the remote or push button on the door. I ended up replacing the door lock actuator. It was fairly easy to do yourself. I shoulda taken pictures and make a DIY, but I started at 9pm on Sunday night and just wanted to get it done. (Took about an hour.)
