I just picked up a drop in filter and was wondering if anyone has noticed any difference it the car. Mine is an 04g35x auto dk blue blk int let me know thanks

 

You'll not likely notice much difference in performance with just the K&N filter change.
It alone is probably worth a few ponies and will allow better breathing at high rpm's.

I have one and I didn't really notice the diff. performance wise. But at least I know it does help a bit (2-5hp) and is a good investment if only for the 1,000,000 warranty. Last filter I'll buy...unless I go for a Pop Charger. One thing you should do. Buy a Z 350 tube. I love mine. Sound and Fury. Easy to install and only around $80.

I totally concur - the K&N and Z-tube combo is worth a couple ponies. You may even feel a seat-o-the-pants dyno increase in horsepower. Whether it's psychosomatic or not doesn't matter - if you believe there is an increase in power, it's pretty darn exciting. Above and beyond that, though, is the sound - you'll definitely notice the sound of the intake when you step on it. That's a nice feature!
