Attn: Nismo Lip Owners, Do you have issue being Lowered 1.65 inches with lip?

Hi,

I'm debating on buying the nismo front lip for a 05 sedan. My question is it going to be a issue with a lip and my car becoming a bull dozer beceause of it's lowered stance? I see alot of people on the forums have the lip and I'm just reaching out to see thier/your experiences with the lip.

Pics:

Thank You

It's not a Nismo part, just an oem Infiniti lip.

The oem lip is poly as well. You will scrape with the front lip I had Eibach Pro kits and your sportlines are lower and I would scrape if I was careful pulling up to curbs and parking blocks as well as some driveways.

And when did Sevas start making the S55 in silver with chrome lip?

I am lowered on Eibach Pro Kits like perry was. My lip would definitely scrape if I pulled all the way into parking spots with curbs and parking blocks, thankfully this has not happened yet (knock on wood!). I sometimes scrape coming out of steep driveways, so on your sportlines you'll have to be extra careful.

It does lower it a bit but as long as you are careful you will be ok. Since they both are poly (oem and klumzyee) you won't hurt much if you do scrape.

BTW your car looks great!

I'm only lowered on 350z spring/struts and I occassionally scrape going out of my driveway (at a moderate slope). As with everything, it's always how you drive it that'll depend on how little or much you scrape. Based on the pics and the sig, seems like you take good care of your vehicle so I imagine you'd be better off than most.

I am lowered on S tech, and I wouldn't scrap on speed bump and stuff, but you have to becareful when you park if there is a high curb. I usually park further out than people if I park head first. By the way, I got a oem front lip on sale, are you interested?
