Racing seats in a sedan?

So i have been thinking a lot about buying better seats for my car. I love my coupe seats but they still don't offer as much support as I would like plus they are so heavy.

My main concern is that even with all my mods my car will still look stupid with seats like this in there.

For those who don't know my car is a black/black 04 sedan with 20" iForged wheels, 15" 12-pot brakes, a Greddy TT (building motor this month), and lots of other mods. But it's still a sedan and classy looking.

I would buy something like Sparco Torino's.

I personally wouldn't, but i can tell u ran out of mods to buy so ur itching for something.
I know u don't track the car every weekend so there is really no point to put those seats on. Its not because it's a sedan, its because ur not at the track 24/7.
Man give that money to me i will buy something for my car.

I do plan on starting to track the car more often. I'm going next weekend.

The NASA Club Racing Arizona section. They race at Firebird Raceway and Phoenix International Raceway on average of once a month.

I'm not going to go that often because it's not cheap ~$150 a day.

I want to but...
#1 It's a lot further to drive for me and gas is painful these days.
#2 I would have to pay for a hotel.
#3 I would have to buy a different helmet for out there. I can use my Shoei motorcycle one here.

No way, those seats will throw your whole classy look out the window.

I would say no. I'm not trying to impose double standards, but for a sedan, you also have the backseats to worry about. Sure, the coupe has backseats too, but I think you can get away with it with a coupe since the backseats aren't so visible & useful as a sedan's backseats. It would just look strange on the G Sedan.

Do what ever suits you best though. With all that power, im sure you need some better seats

.

good point, and from the looks of it on my ghetto company monitor, they are not leather. All leather interior with 1 cloth seat would look retarded on a car that's so classy. You definitely have the performance to want one, but I think your car looks great as is right now tim.

I would do both seats and no they are not leather. They have the leather inserts on the sides which would blend in somewhat. I would love some real leather ones but they are ~$1600+ each and then you have to buy rails and sliders for another $200 a seat.

I do have to agree with the classy thing. Most of the time if I want something I just do it but this is one that I think would look strange...

I think it might be better to leave these and if I do get into racing more and need better seats I will get one good real racing seat to put in for track days.
