the gold actually looks better than the red does on the stock calipers, but I am sticking with the silver for stock calipers. why do you want the stock calipers to stand out so much anyway?
save that for when you get a BBK.
you can buy the G2 caliper paint kits through TireRack. all kinds of colors and it is easy to do. I did mine when I had my rotors upgraded. just brush it on and let it dry overnight and you are good to go.
oh yeah, don't put any lettering on the calipers. looks cheap.

i would do black or gold...honestly...nothing turns me off more to be attracted to a car's brake by their bright color just to find that they are small factory steel caliper or drum brakes
. Red and yellow are for BBK's only, and color match at blue is jut a bit too much to me. Thats just my opinon but silver sounds like a good plan too, except...wouldnt it look the same as...stock?

My calipers look just like Hybrid_DET's. It's not in your face at all and the change is just enough to let someone else know it's not an OEM look, but it's tasteful enough that it doesn't draw a ton of attention. Silver or black would look too much like OEM unless you got some really wet looking paint. Red or other colors that are loud should be reserved for aftermarket brake kits because they really grab attention to the car's rather small, yet very effective single piston calipers.
