Exclamation Quick Important question...Need answer Fast!! Thx

Hi,

I'm here from my350z.com. I have a G related question and figured i'd get the fastest answer here.

For those of you with a 2003-2006 RWD G35 Sedan, is your chassis designation V35? Does it say V35 in your VIN?

Reason I ask is because I am looking for a structural piece for the frontend of my Z and I know the G shares the same part, but the Infiniti service rep confirms that the V35 G cars share it. I'm not sure if V35 is the same chassis throughout all of the 03-06 G models.

A fast answer will be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

That is interesting....so where did the Infiniti rep get the V35 from? He said his system told him the part number rang up for 350Z and V35G.

If it helps, the part number i'm looking for it G5111-CD000.

Thanks for all of your help so far guys.

V35 is the Chassis code used in the parts system for both 2003-2006 G35 Sedan and 2003-227 Coupe.

See where it says MODEL SERIES in this illustration...

V35 is generally used to explain SEDAN
CV35 is generally used to explain COUPE
CV36 is for G37
V36 is for G35 07+ sedan

Z33 is 2003-2008 350Z
CA33 is I30-I35 2000-2004
A32 is I30 96-99
JA60 is QX56
Y50 is M35/M45 06-08
Y35 is M45 03-04

etc etc....

G5111-CD000 is used on both G35 Coupe & Sedan 03-07 Front Side Member...

But most likely used on a 350Z as well since the CD000 is commonly on 350Z...

16576-CD000 - 350Z Tube
16576-AM800 - G35 Tube...

Hi Jason,

So do you think this part would be interchangeable? It's the frame rail. I know the motor is common between Z/G35c/G35s. I'm not too well versed in G35 parts, but it would be a lot easier to find the parts for a G35 rather than a 350z.

Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated.

I will definitely keep that in mind. That is the lowest price I have seen so far. If my local sources fail, then I will be forced to buy brand new parts. I need a few more similar items.

Can you believe a local dealer here in Toronto, ON Canada wants $710 for that same part?

The Japan-market Nissan Skyline (same car as the Infiniti G35) has a VIN that starts with V35. There are two engine choices - VQ35 and VQ25.
