How many sedan owner here are under 35?
Interesting question. Up here in Canada, the average age of drivers for the G35 sedan and coupe I would think are much higher than the average ages for those in the US. The reason, these cars cost waaaay more here with respect to the disposable income or percentage of income required to buy these cars. The coupe will run over CAD$50,000 with taxes and the sedan will cost a few grand less. In the US, these same vehicles run around $35,000. However, salaries are much the same or lower for the similar jobs for the entry level to mid level jobs in both countries. What does this mean? Say if a person made $40,000 a year in the US, the cost of a G35 in the US is less than a year's salary but in Canada it would require one year and a quarter of income (of course these are pre-income tax figures but you get the idea). What I have noticed when I've visited the US (mainly CA and NV), the number of "higher end" cars such as BMW's, Lexus, MB's, Porsches etc. I see on the streets is much higher than in Canada. It's almost like many of these vehicles are normal common cars in the US as opposed to the domestic brands, Civics, Accords, Camry's and minivans commonly seen here.
I'm another youngin' driving the sedan (22 years old). It's got a combination of the 3 most important things for a car:
1) Looks
2) Power
3) Traction (I have the X)
(not necessarily in that order though)
and it has tons of other wonderful gems too (like the 7 speaker Bose system, the navi, etc, etc, etc).
Don't pay attention to my babbling though, I've only had it for 5 months, so I'm still in that euphoric stage...

bought my 2003.5 when i was 33. I just turned 35... I wanted the coupe at the time but did not have enough head room so I went with the sedan.
Coupe is just more sexy and sporty (in base form) But with a few acessories the sedan can look pretty slick...

Got my 05 G35 6MT 2 weeks after my 25th birthday, so we've had it for about 2 weeks now. Anyways, we were looking for GTO's, but the Pontiac dealers were terrible, and the WAF wasn't so good either. I'm a grad student in Electrical Engineering and work as a student intern here in Albuquerque...
