Chrysler Crossfire vs G35

I was driving around yesterday afternoon and got into a little pi**ing match with a Crossfire. Red light, we both floor it ( there was literally nothing else on the road) and I had him by about 6 car lengths up to the speed limit (55mph)? I really thought those cars had a lot more poke than that. Afterwards, he gave me the thumbs up & I him. It's nice too have a little respect for other's cars, but that thing was sloooow.

It'll still looks like somebody beat an Audi TT with an ugly stick.

I was considering that car last year then opted for an S2K instead. I never drove one and thought they looked okay, but I really haven't seen that many on the road? Maybe people are waiting for the supercharged version and on hindsight now, they do look quite ugly. That big boattail back end looks awful.

I'm not a fan of that thing. They tried to style it a little too much IMO. I also don't fit in it. I am not surprised at all that you blew the doors off of it.

Re: Chrysler Crossfire vs G35

test drove one before i bought the G. nothing special. the inside dash looks like a cheap scifi control panel. the wing popping up at 50mph is kinda juvenile. but mostly a lot of bling that serves no purpose!

That rear moving spoiler (by the way not painted) is fugly, and useless, especially in that underpowered car. By you got to admit, the Mercedes 3.2L V-6 is silky smooooth.

Re: Chrysler Crossfire vs G35

I wouldn't mind have an SLK convertible (crossfire is based on that car)... just for the cool factor not speed

It's funny how something so ugly and something so beautiful can be basically the same underneath
