The other day as I was comming home I encountered one of those Porsche "SUV". I wondered man, are those things fast or simply just slow?? So I looked over @ the guy next to me, mind you he looked like he was 17. We were @ a light @ 2am no one around, light turned green and the SUV took off, I slowly drifted out and then punched it. Wow, the G35 has some power for being stock. He was about a half car's length in front, when I just started pulling up on him and slowly but surely cruising by him, getting up to 122mph, until he gave up and seeing him about a car's length behind me. Wow what a good race that was. I felt good, considering that SUV has 340hp AWD, yeah it weighs 1500lbs more than the sedan but it also has almost 100hp more.

Its actually closer 80HP more. 20HP is alot.

Yeah 80hp more you're right. But hey the look on the guy's face when we came to a stop was priceless. He didnt even want to run me a second time. ha! Go G35!!

 

His post said it was the S. The turbo model would have laid the smack down on him.

 

Yeah true, but if our G had 450hp, all I would be yelling is, "Who's your daddy?"

 

i'm still amazed that SUVs are now being made that can actually challenge and hang with non-SUVs. but hey, at least now you can say you ran with a porsche.
