when i got my car, i was told the trunk mat came with the car only IF you got the winter package (heated seats, etc). but i got mine for free anyway as incentive. listed at $70 or something. heh, add the trunk mat with your cargo net and your G's trunk is looking good.

Never believe the salespeople. They always try to slant what they say to make it sound good to you. Go to Infiniti's website and look at the build-your-own section for the car you want (or any car's website). That's how you can get them optioned out.
My salesman didn't know the difference between the Aero Package and the Aerodynamic Body Kit, and my attempts to explain the difference failed. I had to resort to saying, "I want the $500 Aero thing, not the $2-grand Aero thing."
IMO, you should know what the options are, and which ones you're interested in, before you step foot in the dealership for that first test drive.

I second this, I actually had a salesman get mad at me one time because I knew more about his product than he did, really pissed him off, needless to say, I didn't buy a car from him! I always research a vehicle before I buy!

"when i got my car, i was told..."
guys guys... ok i should clarify that. instead of saying "i was told," it was more like "i saw the stickers on all the cars and only the ones with the winter package had trunk mat listed beneath it." heh. believe me, i trust no salesman, especially the schmoeball that i dealt with. but thanks for the lecture and pep talk, pops! g35girl, that's a good word to describe a sales associate, notice I am being PC there!
LOL, know how you can tell a salesman is lying? His lips are moving!
