Rear window tint

Hey guys, im pretty new to the forum and i have a simple question. I am at school so i cant check for myself, but does anyone know the dimensions of the rear window? I am thinking about tinting the windows myself but i need to know how wide of a roll of tint to buy. I want to try and do it in without having to cut the film at all so that it looks professional. Thanks

Not sure how big the window is but are you sure you want to do that yourself? A buddy of mine installs tints for friends and family but he won't even touch the back.

Well, IMO unless youre very good at using film, I wouldnt advise a DIY tint job. You drive a luxury car, wouldnt wanna have an ugly tint job, your not in a bucket ya know?

Have a shop do it, its not much and you can SEARCH the forums for a recommended shop in your area.

I've got ceramic tint on my G35, allowing 15% of the suns heat through. if you're looking to do it yourself... if I can suggest... the G35 isn't a honda accord, take our cars to the pros to have done! if your in California, www.premiermobilegroup.com

The rear window is not square/rectangular.... You won't be able to buy a piece that will just fit with no cutting.

I would strongly recommend you just save up and get it done by a professional.

based on the OP questions asked, I presume there isn't experience installing tint... Highly suggested not to DIY!

On a 30 year old Corolla maybe – who cares about the bubbles and wrinkles… On a relatively new G35?

Unless you have all the material to apply the tint you're going to have to buy it, so you might as well pay somebody.
