reg price. he couldn't go any lower than what they are selling them for individually. If you are in the SoCal area... you could pick up and avoid shipping rates. But like TTrank said.... you will have to pay Cali tax

my my, price has really gone up on these things. I'd imagine it to be upper management giving pressure on parts guys for piratically giving the parts away. I bought mine from Chad for 760 picked up back during the GB. When tony first started i bought another bumper from him and the price was not as good as chad's but certainly a lot cheaper than the 975 now. Good luck guys

Actually, the prices on the bumper have gone UP since Chad was on the boards... Like $200 dollars COST. MSRP went from 900 to the current $1195.

$975 Shipped is pretty good considering it costs $160-$190 to ship the bumper insured.

Not to mention the time it take to wrap the bumper, box it and ship it.

The amount of profit that is made selling the bumper for $975 shipped is well, not even a full tank of gas.

Here's the thing: The interest list right now is at 11 people (I'd be on there too if it were a better price, as I'm sure many others would). I understand that there isn't much of a profit margin for one bumper, so it makes sense that the price needs to stay where it is for the average consumer. But the entire purpose of a group buy is to exponentially increase the retail sales for the seller, and pass the bulk savings on to the customer.

Lets be honest here, I bet 8 of the 11 people currently on the interest list for this group buy won't even purchase the aero bumper at the regular price of $975 if the group buy never happens. I know I won't....too rich for my blood. And for the 3 or so who will buy it, there's a good chance they might order it from EverythingG35.com or another source. So Riverside Infiniti might sell 2 of these Aero bumpers for a total profit of around $100. The other 8 will walk away with their cash in hand and spend it elsewhere. Hmm. Now if there were a group buy and lets say 10-15 people bought the bumpers (I'm being conservative with those numbers), that would be a much greater profit for your dealership, and I'm sure the top brass would be please to see an additional 4 to 5 digit sales figures in the parts department. Just a thought......

Dealerships do not look at it as making $100

Most dealers seeing $100 made on a $1950 total sale would rather not even make the sale since it pulls down the overall gross profit.

MOST highline dealers expect 50% Gross Profit and higher on parts sales. $100 on a $1950 sale is not even 5% GROSS. (not figured as mark up, gross if figured differently).

This doesnt even figure in the cost of Bubble Wrap, a Large Box ($45), and the employee that takes the time to box the bumper.

If you look at the "regular" price of $1195 PLUS shipping, the $975 is a killer deal.

Tell you what, go to the grocery store, buy a carton of milk for $3 and sell it to me for $2 including delivery.

when i picked mine up, it was already boxed in a OE nissan box already bubbled wrapped. Unless it requires extra protection during shipping (which i imagine it would), then yes the box and bubble wrap would drive up the cost.

The OEM NISSAN boxes are NOT shipping approved boxes.

They do not have a CRUSH RATING on them. They are ok for container FREIGHT not for SHIPPING.

IF one was to ship in an OEM NISSAN box, they would be charged extra for the "ODD SHAPE" of the package. Plus it would not offer sufficient protection of the bumper in shipping.

The slightest bump rips apart those boxes or any other OEM box.

Boxes safe for shipping have a crush rating on the bottom. It will show the corner crush rating and gross weight rating is stamped on those boxes.

Not on the OEM NIssan

My whole kit came in the OE nissan boxes shipped from everythingg35.com.

Might want to check with whom you order it from on how they are shipping it, if you care.
