Mine also came in the nissan box and it was crushed. I figured the bumper cover would be damaged too but I got lucky. The right way would be to add additional packing material to keep it safe.

The GB isn't going to happen. no one wants to spend 975.

Looks like Rookie's bumper may be the better route being that it would be cheaper than the aero!! I think I may just may pick up rookies new bumper!!! Can't wait!!

It will still look good with the OEM sides too Chris but the Aero sides give the illusion of being lower on the front and back because the middle of them is higher so it just looks like it flows better. Hope that makes sense

Do you think with price of rookie's bumper and paint it would be cheaper than the nismo bumper.

If I remember correctly, the kuruma bumper is made out of fiberglass. Typically, fiberglass is cheaper to buy than poly (Aero parts).

Have to wait and see.

I would guess that the bumper, shipping and good paint/clear will be around ~$1k.

I'll be making a clear bra for this bad boy.
