I don't know what the problem is.. I just pop the Nav screen up, it hides the analog clock and displays the time in digital in the upper-right corner.

I had my clock replaced last year. Yes, the old one was "prettier," but it was worthless to me, especially at night. I have no problem reading the new clock, day or night.

 

Hmmm, did they use the "new" clock on the 2004? Mine is fine, I have no trouble seeing it day or night!

I had trouble reading it at first Franklin, but my eyes seemed to adjust to it over time. Or else I just do what Ryoken said and read off of my Navi. Kind of an expensive clock, though!

I want a new Radar/Navi that actually shows all the OTHER cars on the road - like my pals fishfinder does with fish! I want it to show up all the cop cars bright blue.....lol
