yea you right its not just a fart sound, its also a fart, boing sound. its i dont know why, it just bothers me, can i turn it off?

 

Mine used to do it a lot but not so much anymore. Don't know why. My old accord used to do it all the time when I first drive the car for the day.

"Fart boing" is definitely the ABS self test, and no, you can't turn it off.

 

Mine doesn't have fart-boing, I guess it's not part of the Prem/sport packages.

 

"fart boing!" ROFL!!! that was the best description I have heard yet! that is most def the ABS self test. Most new cars have it - some of the them are quieter then others. On my brothers 06 ML500 you can hear it if you squint your ears

 

I got the same car as yours, 06 G35 sedan Diamond Graphite Gray. Got it brand new back in 06 drove it off the dealership and made the same farting noise and until now everytime i start the car dont matter if it's day or night it does that sound. Oh well...it will be my wife's car in a couple of months, upgrading to a bimmer.
