Got my new wheels
Got my new wheels
and tires on yesterday and they seem to rub a little bit when I go over bigger bumps and what not. I am sure they will rub even more when I put people in the back seat.
I have TSW Mondellos 20/8.5. Has anyone had this problem and what can I do or have the tire shop do to stop the rubbing...can this simply be fixed by folding up the little lip of the wheel well??

if the offset is 20 then you, my friend, are screwed. You need a +35-45 for those to fit with that size tire. Take your car back to the shop and tell the dousche bags at whatever shop it was to order the right wheels.
post up a picture if you can as well.

Does that mean I might have to get a different wheel or should I be ok in that department? This is the only wheel I want right now so I hope I don't have to change that up...

If you get anything from Discount you need to make sure and deal with their wheel guy. Seems like most shops have at least one guy who knows what he's doing when it comes to aftermarket wheels. I have a few friends who work for discount and they know more about wheels than I do! One of them has sold me my last 10 sets of wheels; 6 of those were before I knew anything about offsets, etc.
