Have a question about the g35 sedan..

Sorry for being a noob but just wondering about a few things before i attempt to purchase an used (03-04 ) g35 sedan.

1) does the g35 sedan exhaust system sound the same as the coupe ??

2) what kind of reliability does the g35 sedan have ?

3) what kind flaw as in glitches does the g35 sedan have ?

4) what kind of pros and cons does the g35 sedan have in stored for me ? lol

I know it would be best for me to look it up on edmunds but i would like to hear these answers from ACTUAL OWNERS of the car.

thanks for ur time !!!!!

1.) It does not sound the same as the coupe. The sedan is more restrictive in the exhaust to produce a more luxury sound/feel. However aftermarket parts will change that and really show you what these sedans can sound like!
2.) From my point of view, my 03 g sedan has been VERY reliable. never had a problem with it. Little things here and there, but normal wear and tear of a vehicle
3.) 03/04's has black ugly plastic sills around the bottom of the car, CD player problems, rattles. Othat than those things, not much else that I have experienced
4.) Pros: Luxury sports car with 4 doors. you get all the perks of a sporty car, but is sophisticated at the same time. Beautifully manufactured cars and couldn't be happier with it.
Cons: the little glitches I named

It's a wonderful car and very happy with my purchase. I've had it for about 1 1\2 years and it has treated me very well. However, the mod bug is biting VERY hard right now and is in the process of becoming a BEAST haha. Get one, you won't be dissapointed. Just need to figure out price range and what you are looking for. Goodluck!

just make sure you get one that has been properly maintained...as far as oilchanges, brakes, auto-trans fluid, filters, battery, tires etc. I would ask the seller(private indiv.) to have the service records faxed directly from the dealer to your fax #. Also, get a carfax report, and possibly hire a mechanic to inspect the vehicle...especially for frame/flood damage.
Be prepared in your budget to spend money on service items mentioned above...you still save thousands over a new one, even when you take into account your service/reconditioning costs. I've only had 1 strut go out and an airbag warning light go off.....all fixed by the dealer under warranty. Make sure you buy one that has at least 6mo. and 8 kmi or so, left on the warranty so that if something comes up during the "I just bought my G-high time period" that you have coverage.
If you buy an 03-04, get one with the full aerokit pkge--they look so much better. If not, you can add later for 2 grand or so, if you put it on yourself. Expect at least 200-300 additional if instal from body shop.
They are great cars and when paired with the aerokit, look hot.
The engine and trans is pure silk!
go for it.

I just purchased a 05 and LUV it!!! I could not agree more with the comments posted already. I came from a 05 Dodge Ram so this thing is quiet as a mouse to me. All cars will have their idiocentricities so MY .02 is to choose the car that fits you and your needs then drive it like you stole it!!

PM me if you want to chat "off line" about my "new" purchase experience.....

Please read the FAQ before starting a thread like this...

We spent a lot of time working on that so some of these questions would not get asked all the time. It's a sticky at the top of the page.

If that doesn't work try the search function.
