can't help ya from here but when you get them ready I definately want door handle overlays. Will you also do the chrome around the windows ?

I think a thin/light smoke would give it a black chrome look... If I were doing overlays I wouldn’t do a solid color, I would use something translucent and work with the polished aluminum to create the chrome effect and the vinyl to create the dark.

This is one of the several ideas I looked into before painting… I couldn’t find anyone (quick enough) to cut the right shape with the right color…

I like that idea a lot!!

May have to give that a try.

I may consider it too once Andy gets them finished... he's looking for a fit car right now.

Whether I true black chrome or overlay, I need to purchase a whole new set anyway... or find a good set at a salvage yard...

So many projects I know you know the feeling… why does the little seemingly easy stuff take so long and end up so much harder?.... Even the taillight paint scheme is giving me grief – I can’t satisfy myself between several ideas

Edit: Duh - Andy's post is only 3 or 4 above this... I knew I read it somewhere

Yeah the projects can cause so much stress. Funny you are trying to do something to make you happy and end up going nuts over it!
