**I need an UNDERCOVER / ENGINE SPLASH GUARD any info?******************

I am looking for the plastic piece that is attached to the underside of the car that protects the engine from debris and also creates for reduced drag on the car.

The dealer has this piece for $131 ($150+ w/ screws) which I think its absurd. Anyone know of any other places to get this?

Thanks,

AT

try your local junk yard(s): give them a call, most will tell you if they have any G35s that you can pull parts off of. Bring a power screwdriver or a 10mm socket wrench.

That's a pretty good price for a dealer bought part.

If you still have your original, but it is damaged. I say go to a hardware store, find a similar plastic, and use your old one as a template. If you are handy, and feel up to it, get aluminum and make your own aluminum one using your original as a template. If it comes out right, sell it on here to other members.
