If my sales invoice indicates an Aero package with spoiler and diffusers, is it the same as the Nismo kit? I am asking because, the actual 'ground effects' are just the grey ones? They look nothing like the nismo kit. Please help correct my understanding.

 

the diffusers are actually small plastic pieces bolted to the underbody behind the wheels. They are not visible unless you look under the car or have it on a lift.

 

I think the aero kit must be the underbody air diffusers that comes as a package with the factory spoiler

the ground effects package from the factory I think are referred to as the Nismo body kit ?

If you have no black on the bottom side of your front bumper, you have the aero front bumper. If the side skirts are color matched, they are aero side skirts and if you have a color matched lip on the rear bumper, it is a aero bumper lip. The diffusers are actually underneath the car. Yes the aero kit is also referred to as the nismo kit.

Yes the sides are different. It's minor but they are more square and a little lower. I looked when mine were side by side.

Every dealer I have been to calls it the "Aero" kit, not Nismo since it doesn't say Nismo anywhere on it and even comes with a Nissan part number.

 

Th efactiryAero Package is the two diffusers under teh rear end and the rear wing. Hybrid his side panels are painted original. The Nismo kit can be purchased in pieces. Here is my 04, with full kit, and Z track wheels, same as Hybrid DETs.

 

The center on the aero sides is actually smaller/up higher than the OEM ones which gives it the illusion of being lower. Otherwise, they are almost identical in size/height.

These are the measurements of the 03-04 stock sides and nismo sides.

aero kit 2500 dollar option lol - we call it nismo kit, its the front bumper, sideskirts, and rear bumpr valence. they come prepainted colormatched from the factory.
