You're fine.

The ebrake is a drum-type system in the rear brake hat so if you use it a lot while driving it can be damaged or wear out but 10' is fine.

I've been on the highway because I've left it on. I'm not used to a foot e brake and forget to take it off. So I stopped using it at all. That thing does not work anyways. Whats the point of our e brake? My car still rolls with it on.

I wouldn't worry.

Once I put it on (not sure why) and pulled out of my school with my windows rolled up and music playing. I left it on and didn't hear it until the song changed. I felt like an idiot. Nothing happened though.

Since it's a foot brake, I've done this a few times, I usually notice after a few feet and take it off, but its not biggie unless you start picking up speed then your wearing down.
And yeah, our e-brakes don't work, lol, I have a pretty good slope on my drive way and my car's slid down during ice season like the car had NO brakes on at all, first time this happen it scared the **** out of me. Thank God for New England weather.

Seriously, is this a question that needs to be asked? 10 feet with the e-brake and now you're ready to remove it?? I hope you don't plan on ever selling your car because I'd never buy a car from a guy who thought it was necessary to remove the e-brake....I'd be afraid of what else he deemed "unecessary".

The valet running behind you screaming would have been funny to see. I wish you had video....

Thank you.
