After some reseach I see that the stock RB26 (GTR) injectors are 440cc but I don't think those are plug and play for the VQ. Plus I would bet something like the RC's would be less $. My guess is they installed another brand 440cc's and just list them as "Nissan" to make it easy.

Ya its weird I got the break down of the kit and it has on there "Nissan" too. I am calling them Monday. They are being a bit flakey over there lately.

Yea, I can't imagine how quickly that filter will get dirty. My old JWT popcharger got filthy quick just sitting in my engine bay when I used to drive around without an underbody cover.

I'm glad I wasn't the first to ask why the turbo was in the rear of the car. But it's definitely interesting to see that setup. Good luck with that...

Not possible with this setup. Enough water could destroy the turbo. If the turbo went there is a chance the motor could be damaged but the chances are slim.

I too am a noob to this type of turbo setup.

As far as the air intake move to possibly the spare tire wheel well, definitely seems like a better environment for clean/dry air....but what about "fresh" air? There really wouldn't be any fresh air going into this intake in a closed trunk with mat....wouldn't that make the performance suffer?

Sweet!

It wold be nice if you could get the intake air piping done in some heat exchange piping. Aluminum rings over it all to disipate the heat.

Here is one type of clip on: http://www.redrc.net/2007/06/edit-cl...otor-heatsink/

But this is what I really think would work. The "spiral wound" fin tubing: http://www.heftengineers.com/spiral-wound-fine-tube.htm
