Dealer not following FSM proceedures
Just thought I would bring something to everyone's attention. I was trying to buy some parts recently from the dealer and they told me that when servicing the coolant, transmission, and differential, they don't replace the necessary o-rings/washers as stated in the FSM. It explicitly says "do not re-use the old part, use a NEW part." So for those of you that are paying for "quality" service, take note..
I'll admit I've done the services without replacing those things, but at least if you're already paying someone good money to do it, they should do it by the book.
here are the photos of the parts:
Radiator drain plug and bleeder valve o-rings
Washer for MANUAL transmission/differential drain/fill
I'll admit I've done the services without replacing those things, but at least if you're already paying someone good money to do it, they should do it by the book.
