thankfully I have the factory spoiler on my sedan... but I remember one of my friends on his sedan (not a g) he tinted the whole rear window... when he brakes the the third brake light would reflect inside the cabin and would have a red glow... kind of annoying... just curious if you guys have that problem with rear tint covers the third brake light...

I had to ask my tintshop to get the brake light covered for all my cars. But if you ask your tint shop they would do it.. they just dont want to do it if you don't request it because its a little more work to do. IMO

sensitive subject, is it now?

I would expect more tact from a skyline driver.

for people who have dark tints that cover the brake light, can you still see the light well from the outside?

The light will still shine through well enough to be plenty visible with most shades. When you get down to 5% it dims down quite a bit but can still be seen durring the day just fine.
