To make a long story short, I test drove both the GxS sedan and 335i sport sedan. I like the BMW more for looks and the way it drives it's just solid. I like the G better for the technolgy and interior space. However BMW gave me a better deal than Infiniti and thus my decision to go with the 335. Infiniti's saleman would not budge on price saying "I give everyone the same deal". Hmmm, I'm in sales as well, and I didn't know that you were supposed to cut your own throat right off the bat. Anyway the 335 was a bit more but the dropped the price and the lease rate down to 2% compared to Infinitis 3.9%! With that the payments were almost the same, then I factored in maintenance (free on BMW) and fuel mileage and on top of that BMW threw in even more goodies (alarm, floor mats, better deal on end term insurance) and it made my decision easy. I also factored in that some guys here have had issues with Infiniti's service at Hyatt. I found it odd that Hyatt Infiniti would not want to keep me in one of their vehicles, especially when I told the guy it would all come down to cost. I told him throw in winters and we're done, and he said it was too much of a cost to him? I'll post pics of the new 08 Alpine White 335i sedan sport when I pick her up on Wednesday. I'm already starting to itch for the Dinan upgrade . The wife will be driving the G but I'll take it for a rip on the weekends from time to time. Pics of the G are in my sig below. I hope Infiniti learns to take their customers more seriously, laters.
Very smart decision!! You'll be amazed how little gas the 3er sips (335) and how much faster it is compared to the G. Fuel economy alone is swaying me to get another 335 too.

great descion, i chose my ip 37 over the 335i coupe, simple because i pictured the g37s an all around better car interior and exterior.. only thing that bimmer had over infiniti IMO was performance.. and that wasent just what i was looking for.. so i went with the 37..

im pretty glad with my descion bc i see 3 series all over the place.. but you would be happy with the choice you made. it fits your situation, and you should have a great time with it

wha color interior.. im hoping red or black.

Congrats!! The 335 is a sick car and if your deals were that close I would have done the same thing!

A little off topic, but have you seen the C&D review of the 135i. It did the quarter mile in 13.3 seconds at 106 mph. Who needs an M3 with those numbers. It might be small, but it is obviously fast.

Just to answer some questions it's white on black with sports package. I pick her up tomorrow and will take some quick pics. The 135 is small and fast but a bit too small for me. Check back tomorrow for pics!

I'm thinking of ordering some 19" M3 reps for it already. We'll see!

Good choice!

Wish I was in your shoes.
I was trying to decide between the 335 and the G35 when I was getting my sedan in 06 (a few weeks after the 335 came out). The lease on a 335 was over $200/m more than for a G35....made my choice easy.

The 335i is a sick car. Inline 6 twin turbo only running 10.5 psi stock... hell of a starting point. I would hope you have already seen this but you need to look into the different piggy back ECU's. A $379 "Juice Box V2" will net you 60+ rwhp and 80+rwtq and have the car running high 12's at 110mph. Add on some down pipes and the pill (up the boost a tad) and your running 115mph trap speeds with under $1200 in mods. Friggin awesome. Sweet car and best of luck with it.

Haha, you know more about the car than I do! I just picked her up today and all I can say is wow. I still have to take it easy for the first 2K. Is 24000km oil change intervals normal?? I will have pics up tomorrow!!

Here's a few quick snaps for you guys. I've already ordered a set of 19" M3 reps with 265/30 and 235/35 rubber, it should look sweet. I'll post more pics when the rims and light tint are done.
