Bad part - The brakes aren't as aggressive as they use to be after replacement.

I think due to brake dust and longevity issues, dealers may be replacing the brakepads with something different. If you like the brakes as-is and don't mind the short life, you may have to request the same pads the factory uses.

Personally, I like the grabby stop-on-a-dime brakes. You get used to them enough to be gentle on passengers. The brake dust is annoying, but if I can't find pads with less dust and equal or better performance, I'll just keep cleaning my wheels.

They are confident enspiring brakes.
In traffic they are a bit grabby but once you learn nt to tap on them fast you can stop just fine with them.
They take getting use to, and with the grabbyness, you feel the stopping power whether you are at 100 or 20 mph.
Also there is less brake fade with the grabby brakes.

the brake pads we use is the ones found on the 350GT8.
the brake pads used in the 250 and 300GT sux....
maybe the dealers started to use those crappy brake pads instead of the blue ones from the GT8.....
