On my 6mt sedan, i usually get about 300-320 before the gas light goes on with mixed driving. My record was 410 with all h/w on cruise control.

I don't think anyone's as low as my ~14 mpg and about 260-280 miles to the last drop on my 2006 5AT with 90% city/10% highway. Think my alltime record was driving up to Santa Barbara and back...23.5 mpg!

Not particularly proud of the low mileage, but I sure do have fun going through the canyons for work everyday.

I meant how many miles do you have when the light comes on til empty. I heard on cars you have 60 miles. But I am not sure if the g's are the same

I really don't know.
When I first got my G, I was averaging at about ~16 MPH.
Now, nearly 2 years later, my G has been slowly becoming more fuel efficient.
I haven't changed my driving style at all. My MPH has just been slowly increasing every few months.
I don't know what it is that's getting me more miles, but whatever it is, I hope it keeps going.

I've gotten has high as 460 miles on 16 gallons (29mpg) driving at a steady 70mph cruise in the middle summer, fully loaded, going from Atlanta to Jacksonville, FL. My car usually sees right at 400 miles on 16 gallons in 100% highway. However, in combined 50/50 driving, the car only see 320ish on 16 gallons. Highway driving makes all the difference.

At least 50 miles. Once my gas light comes on I usually drive it another 30-50 miles. One time I drove about 60 miles w/ the light on, then got nervous and filled er up. The fill up was about 19 gallons, so it was getting close.

seems like there's a huge difference with 100% highway and mixed~ I average about 19 mpg each fill up, and each time i usually fill up about 15-17 gallons with mixed driving. Interesting thing is, I used to average about 16 mpg before i got the popcharger~

agreed, there's a huge diff between city and highway driving. Driving on a cold engine also eats a lot of gas. My friend had an 03 sedan AT and he mostly drove in the city...Lots of stop and go and no trip was over 5 miles. He would regularly get 12-13 mpg. Traded in for an FX35 and ended up with 10 mpg!

I also noticed a huge difference in highway driving using cruise control...adds an extra 2 mpg for me.

Better than my RX-8...that was a guzzler!

Interesting thread, 03' Sedan w/ 70k on odo getting around 320mi per fill up , no mods. Would love some suggestions on getting higher mileage, aside from driving habits. Can anyone attest to how much of a mpg increase they've gotten from particular mods?

^ I have a AMSOIL nano air filter which according to the website (http://www.amsoil.com/StoreFront/eaa.aspx) provides better filtration technology than most other cellulose and wet gauze filters. It has better air flow and long service life (guaranteed for 4 years or 100,000 miles, which should be cleaned every year or 25,000 miles).

As far as gas mileage, compared to the stock paper filter, I've seen an improvement of 1-2 MPG with the replacement of the AMSOIL filter. Just think about the cost savings in the long run... you'd never have to replace the filter for another 4 years at most, and you'd save yourself plenty of change. BTW the AMSOIL filter is a dry filter, unlike K&N which is oil-based and could pose a problem to dirtying up the MAF sensor.

Hey CODY aren't you the guy that has these wheels on your car?

These wheels are extremly HEAVY ! You will KILL your fuel economy as well as you brakes with these on your car.

I have an '05 6MT with sotck 18's and I have seen as high as 28MPG avarage on the highway. I can get anywhere from 300-400 on a tank.

400 miles.. how the hell? I drive from houston to austin and back sometimes 100% highway mile and the most i have seen is about 340 miles before the light comes on. And thats going about 70 the whole time, lots of cops on those roads. even more I have the stock 17's should be lighter right?
