Organizing the Trunk

been trying to clean up my trunk, but my stuff just keeps sliding around.
are there any organizers, or dividers for our trunks? and if there are, is it strong enough to handle a hydraulic jack, couple of jack stands and a 50lb toolbox?

(yeah, i don't have a garage, and no room in the apt for more stuff.)

how do you guys manage your trunks, (beyond not keeping anything in it)?

Wow that sounds like a lot of weight to lug around with you. That is a waste of fuel IMO.

I have not seen any organizers that can help with that kind of stuff.

Thats A LOT OF STUFF!! I keep a california duster, wet naps, a few air fresheners, folder with papers, microfiber towel, spray on shine wax, jack and a small tool box. The OEM net works great for that.

For all ur crap. I would prob say some of those plastic square closet organizers u can buy in pieces from big lots, lay them across and somehow fasten them to the hooks for the net?

maybe a rubber trunk mat so the toolbox doesn't go sliding around and some bungee cord to hold the jack and jackstands together and hook them to something?

Yeah, I just have a Remington 870, Bushmaster AR-15 and a Sig Sauer P226 .40 cal in my trunk.

Check this out, it might fit your needs.

rubber mat sounds like a good idea, think i may install some additional hooks to bungee stuff to.

yeah, i don't like the idea of hauling all the weight around either, esp with gas prices, and it throws off the dynamics, but i really don't have much room for the stuff other wise. (i can't wait till i can afford a house, or at least a garage).

thanks for the input.

Why do you need to drive around with a hydraulic jack and stands in your car? I have my tool box for work every day and a bunch of cleaning products in a plastic tote from wal-mart and that does not slide around
