How many common G problems have you had?

I have been thinking lately, if this car wasn't so nice to drive I would be cursing it daily. I'm not sure if the newer G's are any better (mine is a 2003 M6 sedan), but some of the common issues these cars have are not acceptable for even the lowliest of brands.

My list:
1. Oil consumption: new engine last week..still working out all the issues.
2. Clock lamps: replaced today.
3. Door rattles: Fixed today. Three screws had backed out that hold that hold the guides or something. One of them had completely come out and fell on the ground when I took the door panel off.
4. Hood hinges: Working on right now, waiting for the paint to dry. But seriously...hood hinges??? Hinges are not a new invention! There should not be mass failures of hinges!
5. Intermittent heated seats.
6. Bose/climate control circuit board.
7. Noisey throwout bearing. Fixed.
8. Just noticed my doors are rusting, maybe from the inside out.
....hopefully thats it for a while.

So far it's just the annoying window rattles (which I'll have to go through DaveB's thread for the DIY fix). Also from time to time my 3rd brake light doesn't work but I've read that there seems to be no permanent fix for it (guess I'll just have to live with it). Everything else is OK: stereo circuit board, front compression rods, fuel door locking actuator and fuel hose recall.

One month left on my warranty and I just had my first problem fixed, Rear Axle Click. I have a couple of interior rattles which I need to try and fix.

I have had the compression rods replaced and rear creaking windows fixed under warranty.

what is the rear axle click that you guys speak of? Does it affect all G35s? What symptoms did you notice? Is it a similar noise to say worn CV joints on a FWD car?

its literally a click that comes from the rear axle when accelerating. I'm pretty sure they just need to pull apart the axle and grease it up a bit. Also I think its only on 03's and 04's.

Infiniti just changed all 4 doors because of rust, seems there is an issue
with water getting in, I appreciate they changed all the doors but the
paint job is off, I think its orange peel on 3 of the doors. I love the car but
hate the service. It has me looking at the BMW 335 but not sure if that car
has issues too..

1. Rattles from rear shelf and front console.
2. Third brake lamp out.
