Re: More pics....

I don't really like it from up close...but in those far shots it looks good. Really goes well with your paint.

Re: More pics....

To tell you the truth... I have no idea what went into installing it. I am sort of still waiting to get my old grilles from T-Rex, as I picked the car up late at night. i can't even remember how the OEMs were mounted. Looks like they usead the factory holes to bolt it on.

BTW... probably sometime next week Nuttyprof will be stopping by to see if we can mount it on his G.. He does not have an aero kit, so perhaps some of these questions will be answered.

We'll probably take some pictures, I guess...

Cheers, ted

P.S. Rob_g35 got his coupe done by them onthe same deal and received his grilles back, so perhaps he can answer the no going back question?

Re: More pics....

My grille should arrive early next week. I was told, by multiple Performance shops and by the manufacturer that a 10 year old could install this grille. It should be a simple bolt on using the factory mounting points/holes.

I'll take pictures as well.

Re: More pics....

Thanks Jaerian! Looks great!

Based on the pictures, I can't see any differences the one produced by T-Rex or Precision Design. Are there any that you know of?

Sales may be determined by the price / date of production as far as I see.

Re: More pics....

I may retract my order for the T-Rex billet grille. T-Rex gave me a local perforance shops number to order the grille through . The local shop indicated I would have my grille in 1 week (a week ago) and now tell me that it is on indefinite backorder.

Is T-Rex the only manufacturer for the G35 billet grille?

So far score ZERO for T-Rex and their lousy customer relations. (Lying about having an available product is complete b.s. as far as I'm concerned).

Re: More pics....

The grilles look better in real life than they do in those pictures. like ted said, they're perfect.

Re: More pics....

It was custom made at Precision Designs in Santa Fe Springs, they needed a prototype car so they used mines, I really don't know thw price, I was told they will go into production this week, as far as differences go, I have no idea, they look the same, I would have to meet up with Ted and see if there are any difference, beside the bottom half of the grille, you can go to there website and look up there contact info: www.precisiondesign.com ask for John or Justin, let them know Jeremy with the Sedan referred you and they will give you the pricing, you will get a good deal, they are the manufacturer, they normally do not sell to the public, only wholesalers, but in this case as long as you call them they will take care of you.

Re: More pics....

FYI - I contacted Precision Design. They said that they do not sell directly to the public. To purchase a grille, you would need to contact "Traders (sp?)" at (562) 204 2044. In addition, the grille is not made for mass production yet, it would take at least 2 - 3 weeks for them to be made (for stock purposes?) and the part number to be assigned.
