Re: More pics....

My wheels are Binno 20x8 (42mm offset).

As far as the install goes, an 8 year old could do it. There are four plastic mounting tabs on the top of the factory grille. They are easily pryed off.

The new grille comes with two mounting bolts, and lock washers. The instructions advised using two of the original plastic tabs, but I managed to use all four just as a precautionary measure.

It's really that easy.

I definitely like it. Thanks for the compliments. I think it looks really "clean".

Re: More pics....

It does have a "clean" look, Gdup. Later, if I still have my G and want a change, I may well sport a billet grill for awhile. Not too expensive, and you made it sound easy to do. I was wondering what it would look like with just the top, so your pics are a big help - Thanks again.

Re: More pics....

thanks again... It actually does look way better in person. For some reason the billet freaks out my digital camera. I can actually see movement in the image - a sort of "wavering" of the grille slats.

Re: More pics....

Hey gdupg35, Looks AWESOME!! you said in your post that you went with only the upper part, does that mean there is a Billet for the bottom part (Non-Areo) for the Sedan?

Anodized Grille...

Ok, just ordered mine with Adam from Stillen (a really cool guy!). I'm supposed to be getting it on Monday or so. As soon as I get it, I'm going to send it off for anodizing, probably a gunmetal like color, then figure out a way to mount an emblem on. When it's all in place, I'll put up some pictures.

Thank you everyone for all your help!

Re: More pics....

I have the T-Rex brand grille. Stillen is the only one who technically has them available right now. T-Rex does NOT make the lower pieces for the non-aero sedan (at least as of now). It cost me $195.00.

Re: More pics....

Hey guys, I just bought this grille for my sedan and the installation is not going well. I have no idea how to install this sucker. The top grille has two tabs that connect to the car on top but nothing on the bottom. I don't know how to lower grille installs. Anyone have directions?

Re: More pics....

It should be super simple. It took me about 5 minutes for the top piece. (I don't have the lowers so I can 't help you there) Can you take a pic and post it here so I can see what you've got?

Re: More pics....

The top piece went in real easy. The lower pieces were a mystery. There are two screw holes on the lower grille but there are no corresponding screw mount points. The aero lower grille has a black plastic piece that looks like the grille might be screwed into but that's not right either. Any ideas folks?

Re: More pics....

Achee: I'm with you, I just (finaly after 7 weeks) got the Non-Areo grille. The top piece went on fairly easy but the bottoms have me scratching my head! they give you long bolts that go no where and the side holes int he grill piece really don't line up on th esides. Very perplexing. If any one has figured out how to install (As they sent no instructions for the lower pieces) please post. Thanx

Re: More pics....

I called T-Rex Billet and spoke to a guy named Mark. He says that he thinks that they sent the wrong mounting hardware. There should be more of a hook shaped piece and a longer bolt to hook behind the black plastic fin. Anyways, he's sending me the parts right now and I'll let yall know if I can get it on.

As a work around, if you can go to a hardware store and find a 3-16 thread bolt in black (cause a silver bolt head would show on the grille) that's about 4-5 inches long and some kind of hook bracket at the end, you can probably fix it yourself.
