Car Noises

New Owner here. Bought my G in Feb (still with the original warranty) and will be taking it in for the first time in the next month. I have a few issues that I'm going to get checked out but I would like to get some feedback from anyone that has experience on these:

1) wind noise coming from the rear door windows. I read a thread on this which was informative but I would like to know your experience as to if the dealer will make any changes

2) there is a creaking noise that comes from the back doors when I accelerate...anyone else with this issue? Did the service dept help?

3) At high speed on the highway only my tire pressure light comes on. It will reset and not come back on until it is on the highway (over ~70mph). The tires are properly inflated. Any words of wisdom?

4) any way to make the doors automatically lock when the car is put in gear or you take the foot off the brake? This feature was in my old explorer and it was nice.

Thanks in advance for any advice on the above problems.

#1 haven't had that problem or heard of a fix
#2 check the bolts that hold the window and motor in the door
#3 do you have factory or aftermarket wheels? if a/m it's normal because of no tire pressure sensors
#4 car is not equipped with this option

#1 - The smaller windows in the rear is mostly likely the problem. This happened to me as well on my '05 sedan and had them replace all of the rubber parts around the windows under warranty.

#2 - Does the creaking stop if you open the window down just a little or all the way down? They were able to fix this for me as well, also under warranty.

#4 - If you search the forums there was a vendor I think that was selling a kit that would do something similar to this.

Good Luck.

Thanks. I'll try to get the noises fixed. As for my wheels, they are factory.

This could have to do with the pressure change in your tires from them heating with freeway speeds. The other thing that comes to mind is the sensors may need replaced.

if you have that annoying poping sound in the rear windows, there is a Servece Bulettin TSB ITB05-034 on infinitihelp.com, all u gotta do is remove the door trim and replace the two bolts that hold the window inside the white plastic bracket on the very bottom, i have done this a week ago and it feels so much better without that noise, i didn't order any new bolts i just grided off the non threaded tips off the original ones about 3mm and that worked for me.
