Its a toss up right now. I'm thinkin of gun metal or possibly coming up with my own concoction (sp) to try and get the black chrome look.

Looks great !

Just wondering how you made the little vertical slats between the horizontal ones, where the grill was cut?.

IMO, on IP i think flat black would go very good?.

I just saw that you updated your post. Well, those tiny little vertical slats were already there. Look closely.

looks great so far Vick, can't wait to see the final result. Your ride is gonna look sweet! I'd love get rid of the Mt. Fuji on my trunk in the future too, to complete the look.

Oh its actually skyline_g35's progress in those pictures. I will be starting mine as soon as i get it, i hope it turns out as good.

I didn't even know that they had a DIY until you started this thread. My uncle told me what to buy to do this since he was a body man. No bondo here, but then again, I don't know what the DIY tells you to use.

No bondo. Not saying that bondo won't work, but I actually used a special plastics adhesive.
