Can you post a pic of the torch? Are we talking like the gas station cigarette lighter types? The ones I can get from work are pretty big. The pipe coming off the butane gan is like a one inch pipe or so and the flame shoots out like 2-3". I'm a little worried that will be way too much.

that should work just fine..you mainly need to heat up the nut on the end of the bolt to loosen the lok-tite thats on it so itll break loose.it mite smell lil funny wen you do it tho..we do it all the time to the ford trucks at work that we lift,but we use a torch..lol
you should be able to use this.

That's exactly the torch we use at work except the canister of gas is blue instead of yellow. I may just do try it this weekend. The sways have been great by the way, I'd just love the extra support of the other bar. Thanks!

Why are you taking the bar off if I may? I just took mine off...with impact wrenching!

I like the car without this bar but left the other two on the rear.
