So...yeah, a microwave landed on my car tonight.
Spent the day working on the car. Painting the grille. Installing the Stillen sways. Getting her lookingn nice and set-up for my soon to be hour commute to work. And then....
I'm sitting in the living room watching the Astros play and I hear a loud THUD from the garage/guest bedroom area. I have my neice and my aunt and uncle staying with us so I think maybe my neice knocked something over. I wait to hear her crying (she's two) and there's nothing. I decide to investigate.
To my dismay, I go to the garage. Where there was once a stack of moving boxes and a microwave there is now a pile of cardboard, books, clothes and a microwave on the floor. And there's about a 2" scratch to my hood and another 3" scratch to the bumper. I haven't decided if it was better or worse that my grille was unistalled at the time.
I know, I know...this thread is useless w/o pics but the lighting sucks out there right now and after spending 30 mins polishing and waxing it and seeing if how "good" I could get it to look, I can't stand to see it anymore. Pics tomorrow if I can stand to stomach it.

The microwave?
Yeah, I chunked that motherf'er into the trash real fast. Damn thing never even got used. My brother brought it to me after graduating from college. We have one in the house. What house doesn't these days? It's been in that damn garage for 3 years now. Might just take it back out of the trash and take it to a field and go Office Space on the damn thing.

LOL, well I love my neice and the bottom line is, although I love my car, I love my family more. I'm currently looking into having our homeowners insurance pay for repainting the grille, hood and front bumper. Wish me luck!
