About to by an 03 G35 sedan :) Some questions

Hey guys, so I have a quick question. I'm about to buy a 2003 G35 sedan with the following problems for $10.5k:

1) Broken CD changer - will replace with full aftermarket system with the help of this forum

2) Broken window washing squirters - being fixed before delivery of car

3) Foggy / blurry rear window - cheap tint probably, will have it redone

4) Tires a little too big - will replace at some point

5) No spare tire jack

6) No keyless fob - eeeeasy $30 fix - ebay remote + easy programming FTW

It's got 97k on the clock, and he wanted 11.5k. I talked him down to 10.5k, and feel like I got a solid deal. Interior and exterior are both immaculate. No problems. Leather seats, power driver seat, etc...

I just put down $500 deposit, and I'm going to have a mechanic check it out.

Does anyone know a good mechanic in the south bay area (san francisco)? I work in San Jose / Santa Clara, so somewhere around there would be preferable. There's a dealership in Redwood City, but I imagine that would involve rape with no lube.

Question number two. I noticed a wierdness in the trunk when I was checking out the spare.

there's a pic of it - hard to see but there's this crap inside the trunk that seems to form a seam between the trunk deck and the bumper. What's the deal with that - is it signs of a sketchy repair job (clean carfax, shouldn't be any accidents), or is that there from the factory?

Thanks guys!!!

Its factory seam sealer. If the trunk color is uniform, no dry over spray and inside the rear quarters are the same you should be good. If you get the car and want to keep the factory radio im selling mine. Its about 6 months old from Infiniti
