Halo Eyes

I posted this in the lighting section, but noone goes there and i really need feed back.

i did a little something today. i got the lights apart. went to go get my halo kit, and thats where the problems begin. when i first inintially got them, i took one out of packaging and tested the output. all the other rings looked fine and dandy in there bubble rap. now a year later i got them out, two broken (could've been myfault =/) and one i broke... well this is my status

now hopefully someone can tell me i'm on the right track.

and this is a nice shot where i screwed up on the drilling not once, but twice. and i hope the finaly holes are right??!

also i'm really confused on how to put on the lower halo's. from the diretions i got, the lights in manual dont seem to be my year lights, as housing looks diffrent. the blinker housing is getting in the way, or i'm just putting the halo in the wrong spot.

well this is my attempt. i have never done anything like this before. i can use some advice and pointers on how to cover up the messed up holes. i'm thinking paiting housing black now to somewhat hide them better.

Um... OP you put the bigger rings in the bottom and the smaller ring goes inside the top.
I think you put the big ones on top. That's what they won't fit inside the housing and they're basically outlining the housing.
It's supposed to be further inside like in the photos X-Vert posted.

well, i know for a fact the halo that i got a year ago, are for the 03/04 headlights. thats why i had trouble with them. not sure what kind x-vert got, but those sure arent the AAC ones. from what i can see in the diretions and other apps, the AAC rings go around the housing, not inside. i could be wrong.

does anyone know if the 03-04 housing works in the 05 headlight assembly. the 03-04 housing is diffrent from the 05. the 03-04 housing looks alot better to putting the halo in.

called AAC, they def. gave me 03-04 halos. im guessing thats what had me all confused on where to put the halo's. anyway getting new set in, fixing the fudged up holes and painting a semi-gloss black. hopefully that hides the holes pretty good.

thanks to anyone who chimed in for help., but its been real, but i'm done with this site.

How come you are done with this site?

Also, I have the AAC ones sitting in my room for install in the near future. Any tips you could pass along?

Yea blue lighting in headlights is pretty illegal, but cops wont bust your ***** unless they're real d1ckheads. The guy I installed the blue rings for bought the blue ones by accident, he thought they were white, told me to install em, I tested them out, saw they were blue... wondered why he got blue, when I installed it on his car, hes like wtf, I ordered white, I'm like... well then the guy sent you the blue ones by accident.

our headlights are so hot from the factory... i wouldn't mess with the hotness over something that would just get me pulled over any time i turned them on.
