Question for those who know about preformance susp

Hey Guys.. Ordered the Gialla Corsa body kit.. It will be here in 6-8 weeks.. and its going to look somthing like this but without the back wing:

My preformance suspention is this:

This kit is expensive and I dont want to scrape every where i go, but at the same time i like this kit alot. so i purchased it..

so my delema is this:
How can i have my car set at a variable height so while driving i could move it up or down depending on upcoming road conditions (i.e. steep driveway, etc).

my questoin is this:
Has anyone ever thaught about putting Air bag suspention on their car? such as they have here: http://www.showtimehydraulics.com/air.htm

more questions:
Is air bag suspention for show and would make preformance suffer? My educated (slightly) guess is that these things are for pure show and no preformance...

thanks!

Airbags are for show. Your only choice is to go with adjustable coilovers. If you search around you might be able to find some that are electronically controlled from inside the car. Otherwise you will have to get out out and raise them by hand

I see you've identified the main reason I don't like ground effects body kits...

*scrape* *scratch* *boink*

Damn... I just learned that Dampening is more for ride quality (i.e. stiff, etc) Havent been able to find a electronic height adjustment setup yet...

Re: Question for those who know about preformance susp

hehe ive already been through two ways of doing this
one being hydraulics... and from waht ive heard if you install hydraulics it renders your car as being salvaged becuase installation requires holes in your frame.. i dunno if this is true or not, but its what i heard and i definetly dont want that.

second ive thaught about air bag suspention, the problem i have come up with this is that its all show and no performance..

electronic coilovers sounded like a good idea.. but i can just find electronic damper controllers... no height adjustments...

Pest,
the system that Mountain has is from TEIN. They do have electronic adjustment from the cockpit, but that is for the dampening. The ride height is manual, have to take the wheels off.

Pesti:
You are hardcore.
Good luck on your quest. I know nothing about the suspension stuff.
