As for the plenum spacer, I noticed there are different sizes. Seems like the Motordyne 5/16" is what mostly everyone goes with. Should I stick with this if I go this route?

I actually had an '08 G35 as a loaner car while mine was getting a new radiator at the dealership and I can significantly tell the difference in power. That additional 26 HP made a HUGE difference. I'm considering something that will gain me some power and get my G to be a little faster and not too expensive. What mod should I consider in that situation?

As for the plenum spacer, originally that is what I was thinking
Get the 5/16 spacer and z-tube with a drop-in filter (K&N or Amsoil).

Z-tube and JWT is where I started, though it sounded good it wasn't enough. I then moved to the HKS rear section (strictly for sound) and am happy with it, but like everything else in life we're never satisfied. Now I'm deployed for the past 8 months and decided what the heck, so I purchased the MD 5/16 Spacer which has since been sent to the wife. I am now just waiting to go on R&R in sept to see what all the hype about the spacer was about. So the bottom line is, it doesn't where you start, you'll never be satisfied and will always add more little by little. They call it the MOD BUG

Yeah, I had that mod bug with my Accord. I got a CAI, head lights, and tail lights, then I heard some strange squeaking and thought it was my suspension, but it ended up being fine, but I still went with a full suspension dampening kit and lowered the car and planned to do a little more.

I don't want to do too much with my G because of funds. Working for the city part time and having to worry about the budget sucks since more than likely I won't be made a full time employee and I drove so much, probably spend about 400-500 per month on gas. I'll probably end up doing the MD 5/16" spacer and slowly after the z-tube. After that I'll leave the car alone.

Maybe down the line I'll install my audio setup and swap the muffler. Thanks for the advice
