Bottoming Out on Z Springs - RPM's Idling High/Raspy Acceleration

I've a 2006 sedan lowered on unrevised z springs - dropped an inch all around from stock - and I bottomed out for the first time this morning. Was going up a ramp (maybe 30 degrees angled, tops) and I took it head on (same way I took it down with no problems). Was going maybe 15mph when my sedan undercarriage hit the ramp and was stopped cold .

I reversed back down very slowly at an angle and came up back out at an EXTREME angle and made it by about an inch between the ramp and the bottom of the G.

Before I've always done the slow down and 's' curving around bumps and steep driveways, and the worst I've ever experienced was scraping my exhaust tips every now and then.

At lunch I went to go check on the G and see if anything was wrong. She now starts idling very high (1500 rpms) when before she was at around 600 - 800 rpms after I installed a MD spacer, and now up to ~2700 rpms there is a noticeable rasp to the exhaust note and I can 'feel' it through the gas pedal as I accelerate. The rasp definitely was not there before as I always loved and noticed the smooth acceleration that she had previously. Other than that, the alignment is fine with no pulling to either side and there is no leaking of fluids that i can see when I checked the undercarriage. Nothing looks out of place, either.

I'm taking her to Miller Infiniti tomorrow and putting her on a lift, and was wondering if anyone could guess or know what's wrong with her? Could it be damage to a component of the stock exhaust system somewhere? I'd like to have an idea of what could be damaged before Miller takes me for a ride.

Sounds like you may have damaged the midpipe\resonator or knocked something else loose with the exhaust. That's my guess. At least you're not leaving any fluids behind. Let us know what you find out.
