I like the headlights on the '05-'06 model better because the amber turn signal (not side marker) stays lit after headlights/parking lights are turned on, whereas in the earlier models the turn signals do not stay lit at all. This is a key safety feature that Infiniti totally missed out on the '03-'04 model.

The '05-'06 also has better leather seats and more refined interior than in the '03-'04 but that's been discussed many times in the past.

I believe the heated seats were standard on the Sedan Leather model. Another interesting point, you could get the premium package with or without full sized spare tire.

the dual climate thing really isn't that useful either. I thought it was cool when i first got the G, but i never have a passenger who feels like they need a different temperature 1 foot away from me by a few degrees haha The rear reclining seats are a HUGE wow factor for anyone who sits in the back, everyone finds it really comfortable for long rides to have it reclines, and really nice to be able to move it up for short ones.

and the -05/06 lights are a huge improvement up from the 04

...leather and heated seats became standard in 04.5 or 05 sedans. Back then, there was such things as a "cold weather" package that you pay extra for heated seats and sideview mirror defrosters i believe. It was like a $700 or $900 option

It sounds like my '03.5 G has every option available during that model year (except for navigation). I have both the premium and cold weather packages. Gotta love the function of the side view mirror defrosters on those foggy mornings

Other features I like from the premium package include the rear A/C vent (good for my son sitting in the back), auto-dim from the HomeLink mirror and the Bose stereo (thought I may think about going DD in the near future).

rear reclining seats is an awesome option!
especially if you ever have to drive a third or fourth person in the car! it really makes a big difference in space! I love my reclining rear seats! and besides what other cars do you know that have that option!!

6MT sedans doesnt have it duh! their armrest is lower for easier shifting and the parking brake would get in the way with the duct

The 03/04 have the front clearance or parking lights which are located between the fog and the signal. The 05+ has eliminated that and to be DOT legal, the turn signals become the parking lights.

And the advantage of that is you can change that bulb to the super white light.

package...

yeah.. my 04x has the Premium Package that has all the above, including the 6 CD In Dash Changer, Full Size Spare, Bird's Eye Maple trim on the inside door handles and a 1/2 inch trim strip of it across the top of the shift **** front to back, with the Matte Black console and dash.. sweet looking interior, without being over done with way too much wood grain like some pimpin' Fleetwood or Lexus... lol

Pretty much every option that was available, short of the pop-up nav system.. but because of that deficiency, I benefit having additional storage space in the dash.. it's like having two glove boxes and a top center dash storage bin.. great place to stash phone charger and stuff...
I added the Nissan iPod adapter from Everything G35, stashed the iPod in the center console.. the adapter inthe trunk under the rear deck... and it's "set n' forget"... added a nice Jabra Bluetooth adapter for my cell phone, which I can also stash in that center bin on the dash, use voice dialing...

we're good to go Bro!
