Ran with a 350z

Well... tonight at 2am in a clear straight of highway with no cars in sight I hit it off with a presumably stock, silver 350z with Giovanna wheels and only the driver inside. I was driving my auto sedan with stillen intake and 350z tube. I was in the middle lane and this guy was in the right lane one car ahead, his rear bumper was like a foot away from my front bumper. Doing like 60mph we both gunned it. I knew right away this was a manual gearbox when he chirped his tires going into third. We kept accelerating till I read 143mph in the dash before we let go to get of the highway. During all the run he could only gain a car and half and this was creeping extremely slowly inch by inch. Plus I was carrying a friend in the car and he was alone. I was extremely happy with how my car performed but I have to hand it to the 350z because he smoked me.

Lots of fun!

i wouldnt say that he smoked you. He barely beat you, and that is some crazy speeds to be racing at. But good race.

Don't forget, you did have the draft too. Not only do you get faster, but he gets slower as a result. Side by side, he may have pulled more.

Still, very good results for a manual vs. auto.
