wheel spacers

I lowered my sedan with the eibach kit. It looks great but the car now looks like it sits over the wheels a bit. Do you think adding wheel spacers to widen it a little would help? How much could I widen it without rubbing? Thanks.

Re: wheel spacers

Assuming you still have the stock 7" rims you can indeed add spacers. The issue with spacers is that if you go more than 5mm you really need to get replacement hub bolts.

Re: wheel spacers

I can tell you that for a fact, even 5mm wheel spacers on the sedan, require the use of longer wheel studs. I bought a axle's worth of H&R 5mm spacers, just in case the wheels I bought would benefit from them. When I tried they one for the heck of it on the oem rims, I discovered that I could not get as many turns on the lug nuts as needed, meaning as many threads on the oem studs that H&R said would be the minimum. But, the H&R kit does come with the longer wheel studs, you just have to install them. I still have the wheel spacer kit and no use for it.
