Slightly OT... Has anyone had any luck converting a base model -only front 2 windows are automatic- to a premium model - all 4 windows are automatic?

From the factory the coupes will lower their windows if you hold the "UNLOCK" button down. To raise the windows back up you need the KPtechnologies (www.KPtechnologies.com) Nissan window module. With it installed if you hit hte "LOCK" button twice quickly the windows will go up.

How is the install of the module? Is it clean and plug and play? Or do you need to splice into the wiring at all?

Anybody know if you can just replace the factory window switch module in a 05X sedan that does just the front windows with the all auto windows module from the factroy. My alarm is tied into the lock cylinder that allows me to roll windows up and down for the fronts but not the backs since they are not auto.

The module has five wires that oure spliced inside the drivers door - it's a pretty straight forward install for anyone who has done any car electronics stuff.

G35pwrd you can't just swap the switch. The antipinch function is built in to the motor/regulator AND switch at each door. You may be able to swap the motor and switch at each back door and rewire the door to add the feature, but it would be easier to add an aftermarket system that includes the anti pinch feature (like a DEI window module).

I was hoping it would be an easy swap, praying that the switches would auto learn the travel distance with programming. I can add the dei modules fairly easily, but I cannot stand them. They drive me insane!!!

Thanks, I think I may give this one a try. First Post -
