Hello sedan owners,

Does anyone know what year sedan has rear seat a/c vents? I noted 03 and 04 do not does the later years?

The 07 does have rear a/c vents, but I would like to know if the 1st generations even had this option.

'05 has them.

 

The 03s and 04s have them but only the 5AT models, and it might be part of the premium package.

 

Yeah, my '03 5at has rear air.

 

03-04 5AT sedans with the premium package has the rear AC vents.

Thanks for the input. I must not be finding that many premium packaged 03-04 g35s. In fact I have never seen one I guess. Recline rear seats, but no a/c in the back sucks. I live in Arizona and at 115 degrees everyone needs a/c even back seat passengers.

if your backseat reclines you should have the premium package....do you have automatic or manual?

 

Question is, where are you looking for the vents?
As far as I know, the only ones in my '04 are the ones under the seat pointing rearward.

 

the rear vents on the premium auto sedans are right behind the driver/passenger center armrest. It's actually part of the leather wrapped cushion

those are heater vents - all sedans have those... only premium package have the AC vents, which are behind the center console.

 

If it helps at all, I have an 04 Sedan 6MT w/PP and no vents in the center console for the rear.

 

I just read the 04 sales brochure and sure enough under Premium Package it lists dual zone AC with rear vents - then in parenthesis it says "rear vents not available in G35 sedan leather 6MT Model."

I never knew that… I guess there’s one for the MT vs AT war.

 

i believe they had em up to 06 because i got a loaner from the dealer once w/ the bluetooth and keyless thingie so im sure it was an 06.... but it has to be AT cuz the console for the 6MT is different and they didnt route air to the rear, insead we have a cigg ashtray ROFL
