Got keyed a few days ago here at school in Carlisle, PA. I went to the local walmart and came out an hour later to find both drivers side doors keyed. I called a body shop and they quoted me around $450 for both doors to be repainted. Is this a standard price? If so, I might just use touch up paint.

that sucks.... but your car is black so at least you dont have to blend anything. Most times you would be painting the complete side.

Did they have cameras there?

price seems decent. theyre probably gonna just sand down the clear and repaint the part that got keyed and blend the clear with the rest of the door that wasnt keyed. just make sure they do it right and have a good paint guy. ask them to see other work theyve done also.

 

This **** happens often. Happened to a lot of people here.

 

That sucks man, have you tried to see if you can buff it out? The scratches might not be deeper than the clear, post up some pics.

I use to go to military school in carlisle, growing up in the city those suburbs are by far the most boring,the walmart ran out of dip for the regular hick, and he chose you as a target!

It's all the way down to metal in some spots. I might just get one door repainted, and touch up the other one.
