Talking I think my car is a retard now (Auto Tranny Memory)

How do I let the car forget that "shift-logic" memory?
I had to perform an "exhibition of speed" last week, and the car didn't chirp tires, etc. (VDC off)..

I think my car is on retarded shifting mode.. cuz I get 24 mpg in city, 31+ mpg on the freeway (26.3 mpg stated on the NAV today, i drive 80% city/ 20% highway)
The tranny shifts super smooth. And my only mods are grounding wires.

P.S. I tried the battery disconnect method..

DOMO

Wow, 24 MPG in the city? How is that possible? Most if not all of us (w/ lead foot or no lead foot) get on average 17-20 MPG in the city.

im lucky if i get 24 mpg highway. after you reset the ecu, you have to drive it hard for it to "learn" hard shifts.

I wish I got mileage like that...I drive mostly highways with very little traffic, rarely use the A/C (since the compressor and condenser both have leaks now) but I'd have to be driving Miss Daisy to get mileage like that..
