ttt still happening on occasion, not sure what triggers it sounds like metal on metal crunch. rotational Only happens at slow speeds.

going by "crunch" i'm going to say either your caliper is starting to stick, or your pads and hardware need a thorough cleaning and proper re-greasing.

u sure its not ur brake pads brackets?
ever since i upgraded mines to drilled slots rotors
it wouldnt work well with my brake pads, so i took off the brake pads brackets looking thing and it clunk a little. lol.

but urs sounds like u need new brake pads... lol
for the awd, i think the rear ones chew up faster than the front.
i have an awd, i change my rear ones more than my front.

My mechanic said the pads look ok. Im gonna have to tear into it this week and see if anything looks strange. Its like a rotational clunk or crunch, when braking just before coming to a stop. Ill post if i find anything this week. Thanks everyone

took the brakes apart all the way around, cant find anything wrong. Everything looks good all the pads, rotors, bushings, and boots. My 04 only has 34000 on it so everything looks brand new still. If i ever figure it out ill post back here-no luck so far though
